The Appropriate Technology Collaborative creates new sustainable technologies that promote economic growth and improve the quality of life for low income people worldwide. We design, develop, demonstrate and distribute affordable technological solutions that empower people globally. ATC works in collaboration with local talent and other nonprofits (NGOs) to create market based solutions that are culturally sensitive, environmentally responsible and locally repairable in order to improve the quality of life and reduce adverse impacts on the environment.
ATC Summer Celebration
Please join us at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti on July 8th at 7:00 PM to celebrate our recent success and to hear about our plans for Summer 2010 in Guatemala and Nicaragua.
We will have demonstrations of some of our recently developed technologies, presentations from our student design teams and our outlook for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
