Service & Learning Trips

Mayan Solar Project
Working With Local Talent – Panyebar Guatemala

Student Service-Learning Trips request to support an ATC development project that has been designed by local experts alongside a community group. Student Service-Learning Trips support community development projects by learning alongside community members in the construction of the appropriate technology. ATC works with local engineers, natural builders, social capitalists and agriculturalists who offer an open working environment where people collaborate on a community project cross-culturally. Student Service-Learning Trips offer hands-on practical skills training to local community members alongside the visiting students, creating a fun learning environment for cultural understanding and sustainable, appropriate technology design to apply in Guatemala or in the students’ home country.
